Heres my V5

Post by Qu1ksilver on Wed Mar 05, 2014 9:36 am

Had my V5 170 for about 6 years and its been pretty good to me! Heres a couple of photos:

BUT there is a horrible squealing sound which ive posted about in the relevant section on this forum. If anyone could help me out with that i'd be super grateful!

Looks very clean and stealth-like. Have always liked black cars especially clean original examples.

thanks! yeh its basically standard although i got JOM coilovers when i snapped my front suspension. They helped lower the stupidly large arch gap at the back end. The wheels are obviously stock just had them refurbished after a mechanic decided to remove the locking wheel nuts with a hammer and chisel (really!)

shouldnt the mechanic be paying for the refurb after damaging your wheels?

well its one of those grey areas... i got the phonecall saying both front wheel nuts were rounded and werent coming off, he agreed he could get them off but would ruin the nut so i'd need to source new ones. The wheels ended up peppered in hammer marks and scrapes.

I didnt fancy the fuss of arguing it out plus ive taken my car to him for years

ah ok, maybe just ask him to aim for the bolts next time, not the wheels.

car's looking great btw.
